Hi! Just posting with some big news: I have a boyfriend! We have been dating since April 2. I am very excited. Apparently my friends are also, because they told my math and science teachers! My science teacher even talked to me about it. Awkward! But I'm very happy.
Also, I am currently posting this from Florida. It's 87 and sunny here, while for my friends back home, it's freezing. Haha to them!
I have been spending a lot of time watching E!. So far, I love "Keeping up With the Kardashians." It's so shallow it's hilarious. I also saw a special on plastic surgery. Michael Jackson claims that his change in skin color is natural. Seriously, Michael? We all know it's not.
Well, I know this is pretty short, but that's all there is to say. Peace out!

BREAKING NEWS!
Huge news: I DON'T LIKE PI ANYMORE! It is overrated, I have decided. I knew 51 digits of pi, but now I am going to memorize 51 digits of cupcake. That is my goal.
I had to say that. Do you want to know what else I have been up to since I last posted? Let's see...
-I designed a couple hundred dresses (I was bored)
-I got a new notebook
-I saw my 10th Broadway show: Billy Elliot
-I got my second shipping of contacts
-I saw my first rated "R" movie
Well, I have a new obsession: BROADWAY. I love broadway. Billy Elliot is my current favorite, but that basically changes every time I see a new show. It was really good, especially the dancing!
My latest favorite movie: Slumdog Millionaire. It got amazing reviews. It was really sad. And beware, it is not for the faint of heart! Some scenes are downright disturbing. But the message it sends to people is great, and the facts really open your eyes. I highly recommend it!
Well, that's about all I have to say. I'll post again soon!
Anti-pi,
Lavvie

That's How You Know They're A Psychopath.
Okay, so I haven't posted in FOREVER! Sorry about that. So, today was a good day. Why, you ask?
Well, it started this morning when I was choosing my outfit. I picked out an outfit that I liked, had breakfast and jetted off to school. Only then did I remember this outfit had a hood. And that the hood is about 3 TIMES THE SIZE OF MY HEAD. So of course, I had five people today who tried to bring it over my eyes. Don't try. It won't work.
Then, we had a sub in Spanish. Which meant we missed a quiz. =D So of course I'm happy about that. But mostly I was happy about what happened after school: free books and pizza at my local bookstore.
Annie came too, and so did her cousin (the Super Blog one) and some friends. It's just a nice get together for some local readers; share stories, learn about new books, eat pizza, socialize and get Advance Review Copies of some books. It was full of laughs.
You're probably wondering why I titled my post, "That's How You Know They're a Psychopath." Well, this is why. One of the girls who was at the Free Books and Pizza thing had read this one book and was talking about a mystery where one student was suspected. She said, "They all suspect one student because he bit a pencil in half when the teacher pointed it at him," and the book store owner was like, "That's how you know they're a psychopath,"
If you don't think that's funny, get a life. =) I'll try to post more often, promise.

Fluffy pink clay aliens are taking over the world. Got it?
...
Well, recently all I've been doing is mooching around on my computer, eating muffins, falling rather painfully on my butt and doing homework. Blah. Nothing like Italy. Or, for that matter, Jamaica. My cousin (the one with Sblog the Super Blog) went to Jamaica and all I got was a pencil with dreads and a license plate with my name and Jamaica on it. Blah. Speaking of Italy and Jamaica, Lav, did you find your coat?
I'm sorry to say that the Randomness Awards '08 were called off, due to lack of participation from our viewers. Guys, I must say I'm disappointed in you. We might do it later in the year, and then, guys, could you please give some ideas? Lav, Bri and I can't do everything. And anybody who reads this blog, could you comment on this post and say that you read it, and whether you like it or not? Please be honest. I'd like to know if I'm not hollering my random ramblings into space. "Hey, Mars, do you read me?" We'd also appreciate if you gave us some suggestions :]
I'm thinking about adding a new feature-- where you can become a guest blogger and write a post. I think it'll be really interesting. Anyway, remind me to develop that.
And here's our next Wrandom Word of Whenever!:
protuberance: bulging, projecting
Related Words: protuberate, protrusion, obtrusion, jutting
Randomly,

Hello
Sorry it's been a long time since I've been on. I went to Italy, teachers tried to drown me with homework, and my dad has been doing extensive research on various unimportant things, such as my history curriculum from last semester and how to build a proper fire. So, in short, I haven't had much access to my computer. Let me update you on random things:
I got a new phone
I climbed 463 steps
I saw some very good movies
I memorized 2 new digits of pi (that brings my total up to 32!)
I have 3 drops of chocolate soy cream on my hand right now
I've watched way to much television
And I yelled at my brother when he told me to die a painful and horrible death.
I know what you're wondering: How does she survive with such an annoying sibling? Well, I have the dolphin (Muahaha!) and I'm getting a lock on my door.
Currently, My parents are in an intense board game tournament, so I have the computer. I'm going to use it while I can.
Earlier, I mentioned I went to Italy. The sistine chapel was a room full of people looking up, the Duomo was a tiring climb, and Rome is filled with very old buildings. That was a basic overview of my trip.
I just want to say Merry Christmahanukwanzaakah, Happy New Year and any other holiday you might have celebrated that has occurred since my last post. Keep on coming back, and remember to participate in the Randomness Awards '09!

You know an odd feeling? Sitting on the toilet eating a chocolate bar
...Yeah. So, sorry I haven't posted in a while. Been busy with singing grapefruits and other random things.
So anyway, IT SNOWED! Like, a blizzard, and it's not even winter yet! How cool is that? My mom keeps saying Bah Humbug. I have no idea what that means, but I think it's to express her disgust at the weather. I don't really understand, but it might be because the doors to my car are frozen shut. Oh well, who needs to drive when you can have a SNOWBALL FIGHT?
So, I found another addicting game. Downhill bowling. You know how in those bowling games, it's always, speed, power, angle? Well, this isn't like that. You control the bowling ball as you race through a beautiful 3-dimensional course. Well, here it is!
Will post more L8ER!

Bags!
OK, I just got this amazing book. It's called Simply Sublime Bags: 30 No-sew, Low-sew Projects. It has a lot of really fun bags you can make. I made the "Caution!" one, and it turned out to be amazing! I made a few edits, though. Instead of using a zipper, I sewed on a button. I bordered it in black. The bag is made from "Caution" tape layered on top of yellow duct tape. The "sewing" is stapling the sides, then covering the staples with duct tape. It looks amazing and is now my new pencil case. How many people do you think will believe I made it?
I went shopping today. We went to one of my favorite stores, but didn't get anything. But then we went to the Gap, and I got... CONVERSE!!!!!!!! I am uber-excited, as you can tell. PI! PI! PI! PI! PI! 3.14159265358979323846263338327!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry. I am very excited.

So we gather 'round the table to give thanks for our family, health and... turkey candy??
After a morning of watching Macy's 82nd Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade (blah blah blah) and The National Dog Show (oh, so cute!), it felt good to gather round the table eating turkey and anticipating dessert, because obviously, dessert's the best part of every meal, and in my family, dessert is the main part of Thanksgiving. Before I describe dessert, though, let me tell you that I got out of eating green beans after they mysteriously appeared on my plate, twice.
Now, dessert: I ate:
You might be wondering why there is another turkey, made out of oreos, Hershey's kisses and candy corn. Well that's my mother's cousin's (aunt? cousin? 2nd cousin?) treat for us. I didn't try it, but my mom says it's good. Maybe I should try it.
So, all in all, I had a pretty yummy Thanksgiving.
I've more to post, but I should get this posted.
Randomly,
Annie

Thanksgiving
As you all probably know, today is Thanksgiving. So prior to today, many kids have been answering this question: "What are you thankful for?"
I was passing by my local bookstore the other day, and kids had written what they are thankful for on multi-colored paper leaves. Most kids wrote the same "my family and friends" or "my health." But I saw some funny one. I saw "Chocolate milk," "Oreos," and "Not going to the same school as my brother." (Okay, that last one was mine.) Well, it got me thinking, what am I thankful for? Here is my list.
-Chocolate
-Not going to the same school as my brother
-3.1415926535897932384626433827
-PI and, since today is Thanksgiving, PIE!!!
-And the generic stuff, like "my family and friends," "my health," "a good education," and stuff like that.
And, since this entire post was inspired by the bookstore, I thought I would take a moment to tell you all about a book I got yesterday (and finished last night). It is called The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. It is about North America in the future, and I am not telling you any more than that. I don't usually like sci-fi books, but this is actually impossible to put down, and more realistic than you would think. READ THIS BOOK!
Hope everyone has a happy, food-filled, fun-filled, pi/pie-tastic Thanksgiving!

Tissue? I Hardly Even Know You!
Hiya, folks! Just wanted to say, I am recovering from a bite that one of my friends gave me! I am only frothing at the mouth slightly now, and people are no longer extremely alarmed, they are very alarmed! No, just kidding. But I did get bitten! It really, really hurt. I went to the nurse and I'm like, I bumped into a column. And she just gives me this weird look. It was all red with teeth-shaped bruises. The bruises are still there now. It's kinda funny once you think about it =)
I realized that I haven't properly introduced myself yet. My extremely random bestie Lavvie has already done it, and I know Bri's planning on doing it. Sooo, yeah. Let's get started!
Likes: piano, violin, randomness, reading, friends, randomness, Polyvore, blogging, randomness, computers, programming-- oh! and did I mention randomness?
Dislikes: mean people, bad books, ignorant people, know-it-alls, global warming, pollution
Favorite color: purple
Favorite food: ravioli, chevre
Favorite chocolate: all kinds, but Hershey and Godiva, milk
Favorite candy: I can't resist Reeses-- they're addicting =)
Favorite subject: science, French (comment TU trouves? c'est passionant et amusant, je pense)
Anything else? I'm very passionate about saving the environment. I love to read, play piano, and hang out with my friends. My dog is the cutest ever.
That's about it! ;-)
Oh, and about the title: whenever I ask my dad for a tissue, he says, "tissue? I hardly even know you!" (As in, "Kiss you?")
Randomly,
Annie

What Am I S'pposed to do On A Rainy Day?
What, you wonder, is a turkey doing on this page? Well, my specialty is randomness, isn't it? You'll see soon enough.
Today, we (that is, my parents and I) visited Connecticut for lunch. I had very good plantains =D. Then my parents visited boring Klaff's while I waited in the foyer. Finally, we went to Sports Authority where I got tennis shoes (or plimsolls, as they say in England) and a new winter coat.
Here comes the turkey part. As we were driving home, we past a wild turkey just strutting along on the sidewalk, not unlike the picture to the left. I whipped out my mom's iPhone (okay, it was already out, but you have to give a girl a creative license), but, alas, we were already past the turkey. I at least hope it doesn't get caught in the turkey cookers we saw in the Sports Authority!

*humming some new Taylor Swift songs* Oh, hey! I don't know about you guys, but I've been waiting for this album for a loooooooong time. It was totally worth it. All the songs on here are better than every one expected. My favorite songs (not in order) are Fifteen, Breathe, Forever & Always and White Horse. Ah-mazing.
I realize that I'm not the usual poster, so let me introduce myself. I am one of Annie's really good friends. I'm Brielle, but you can call me Bri. Either is fine.
So, anyways, as I was saying. Taylor Swift=Amazing. I totally recommend this album to anyone! These songs (plus Trainwreck by Demi Lovato and Decode by Paramore) were stuck in my head all day! Ask Annie, I was humming them all day =)
So, I'll definitely be posting more often now. So, TTYL!

Trying to Walk like a Normal Human-- And Failing
My dad goes on a site called Metafilter. I have no idea of the address, and I don't really care. So one day, he was on this site, and he found a game. Beware that, before I give you the link, that it is a highly addictive game. Believe me, and I say it with utter conviction. Believe. Me.
Okay. Are you ready? But-- before I give you the link, let me tell you a bit about it. It's supposedly an Olympic running game, but "training funds were low." In the instructions (the question mark in the upper left corner), it explains that it is possible to run like a normal human being, with skill and practice. I'm not sure, but I think I've figured it out, though you should try the game several times before you read the rest of the post.
THIS IS A HIGHLY ADDICTIVE GAME, CLICK AT YOUR OWN RISK
Wow, before when I did this, it was having so much trouble with italics and bold, so I just had to redo the whole post. Now, back to the point-- have you played it yet? I don't believe you.
Still don't believe you!
*Plugs fingers in ears* Na, na, na, na, na!
Okay, I think I'll believe you now, and if you haven't played it, well, I can't trust you. *Wah wah!*
Okay, this probably isn't it, but this is a crude way to run. Press "O" and "W" at the same time, wait for the foot to touch the ground completely, and press "Q" and "P". It takes skill just to do that, and it usually doesn't even work. We interrupt this message for a random broadcast, from Annie: I am wearing a fez right now, teehee. Now keep reading! Okaay... well! Try it out, and if you find a better way, please, please, please comment!
Yes, I know, this is random. But this is for, as you can see on top of the trophy, Elizabeth Says Relax.'s The Polyvore Award Show! *cue cheesy game show music* Like it?

Total Randomness
Don't you totally love this photo? When I first saw it, I thought they were both actually towels!
Earlier today I went to look at dresses for my Bat Mitzvah. It was pretty funny because we kept getting lost. I was all over my mom's iPhone, finding directions, reading them wrong... we were cracking up.
So I looked at all these dresses. I cannot wear strapless, but that's fine by me. I found all these nice dresses that were pretty inexpensive, but my favorite dress-- a poofy blue plaid number-- was over $1000 dollars! Can you believe that? My mom's like, "You're not getting that." Actually, she wasn't. I'm like, "I'm not getting that," because I really don't want to force my mom into buying something really expensive. And I think that was fine by her.
Right now, I'm reading The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak, not to be confused with The Lighting Thief, by Rick Riordan (Ryer-dan). It's really, really good. Instead of telling you what it's about, I'll quote from Death, who narrates the book:
"It's just a small story really, about, among other things: a girl, some words, an accordianist, some fanatical Germans, a Jewish fist fighter, and quite a lot of thievery...."
It's such a good book! You really should read it. It is kind of mature, though. More for 5th grade and up.

Just back from Bat Mitzvah lessons, and here to show you, like, the awesomest video(s) ever (except for maybe SNL, but that's a different post).
One day, I was innocently surfing the net, when my random-fact-obsessed best friend called me and told me about this really funny video, by these college and high school aged kids named Ryan and Sean.. I watched it and was like cracking up. Let's see if you have the same reaction:
Yeah. You love it, I know. It's, like, impossible not to. "The iPod Human is light and portable and you can never lose it because it has a built-in alarm that goes off every three seconds!"
So, I began to look at their other videos. My favorites were his whole line of "How-To" videos. I'll post them. Here's How To Be Gangster:
Don't you love the part where Ryan's "singing" romantic songs and Sean's "rapping?" And how to be ninja:
"Finish him!" *fart*
And How to be Nerd:
"Stop that! Why do you always throw those-- aaah!"
And how to be Emo:
I think that's about it. But they have lots more funny videos! Check out their Youtube profile. Also, they are in a movie. The site has a synopsis, so don't ask me to explain it. Visit their site here.

Annie

Another Optical Illusion (Makes you really ¡¡¡ʎzzıp)
I just found another optical illusion on Polyvore. Believe me, it makes you really dizzy! Here it is:Just stare hard at the pixels outside of the blurry circle, and it'll shake. Cool, huh?
Well, that was all I really had to say...

I couldn't resist that! That's from Fliptext.org, which is just a really cool site where you can... well, flip text around! ¿ǝǝs
Okay, here's a joke. It was originally very inna-pro-pro, but I modified it so my blog doesn't get in trouble. Here it is:
Okay, so there was this apartment building, with four floors.
On the 1st floor, a man was selling pickles from a bucket.
On the 2nd floor, a man was painting green out the window.
On the 3rd floor, a man was sticking his finger out the window.
On the 4th floor, a man was throwing knives out the window.
The man on the 4th floor cut of the 3rd floor man's finger. The finger fell and was painted green by the 2nd floor man. It landed in the 1st floor man's pickle bucket. An old lady bought it, took a big bite, and said, "Mmmm, crunchy!"

Thingamabobers
Yes, I am, gosh-darnit!
Sorry, just wanted to flaunt my graffiti style. This particular font sample comes from Fonts.com, and although occasionally it's very useful, I'm not sure what uses it can be put to other than Polyvore and this.
Speaking of Polyvore, it's, like, the most amazing site ever. You can use different items off the web to create collages of artwork, interior design, fashion or whatever you like. It's mostly for those female viewers out there, but male ones can try their hand. Scroll down the page, and you'll see a sorta montage of some of my more recent sets.
OH, and I've just received word that my best friend, Bri, has joined as an author. Y'all should give a great big hand to her!

I am REALLY bored
So, you may have noticed that I changed my name to Annie N. Muus, because I'm cool. Like it? Know what word it sounds like? =)
Anyway, I am really bored so I was looking at my cousin's VERY old blog, SBlogtheSuperBlog. It's actually pretty funny, but she doesn't post on it anymore. Oh well, maybe I'll remind her. Anyway, I was reading it, and she gives funny advice. Here's a direct quote:

"If you really want to annoy someone, say in a really small and annoying voice, "world domination" say it over and over again. Eventually, people will get so angry you could lose your shoe. (make sure you don't like your shoes that day)"
Take it to heart. It could be useful sometime.

Did it work? Did i-- AAAH! *ducks to avoid flying shoe*
I'm pretty sure that it was based on a true experience...

Snakes Optical Illusion
Wow, this really boggles my mind. I saw a painting of this first at a small science museum in Florida. Now I found it on the web. It makes you really dizzy. Well, here it is:Notice how if you stare at the screen just away from it, the snakes seem to move? Freaky, isn't it? (If you're having trouble getting the snakes to move, click on it for a bigger picture.)

A Load o' Randomness (The First "Wrandom Word of Whenever" and A Random Site and A Bunch Of Other Random Stuff)
Phew, that was a loooong title. Okay, for our first random word:
xanthic: yellow; yellowish
Related Words: xanthochroid, xanthochroism, xanthoma, xanthopsia, xanthous
And our first random site, The Phobia List. I found it while I was writing my profile. To start, here are some odd phobias:
Phobophobia- fear of phobias
Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia- fear of long words
Well, if you were hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia, you would be afraid of what you're afraid of! Same goes with phobophobia.
